Prince Knights

A cold day in October I remember seeing you as a puppy in my hands
Hazel eyes, sand coat, & the way you stand

As we grew together, you were my best friend
I never thought this was the way it would end.

You were our family, our four legged son
Joyful in spirit, always happy as you would run

Leaning your head on us, laying on the ground
Wanting us to pet you, sun up to sun down

We will always remember you & the love you gave us
You were one of a kind, that god made it a must.
We love you forever & Always Prince!

Hello. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Prince. Thank you so much for sharing some of his story. I can see he meant a tremendous amount to you throughout your life. And what a handsome dude 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Prince.
