The team at Paws, Whiskers & Wags is a proud sponsor and supporter of both local and national animal rescue and veterinary organizations, including:
The Georgia Veterinary Medical Association is committed to the advancement of the veterinary profession, and actively supports a veterinarian’s role in the improvement of both animal and public health.
Ahimsa House is a non-profit organization that provides shelter and emergency veterinary care for pets who have been or are in danger of being the victims of domestic violence. In addition, Ahimsa House offers a 24 hour crisis line, safety planning, and other services to help both human and animal victims of domestic violence.
Paws, Whiskers & Wags is also proud to provide charitable support to Furkids, Inc., Georgia’s largest no-kill shelter. Founded by Samantha Shelton in 2002, Furkids, Inc. houses over 275 cats per day, and spays and neuters every animal that they rescue.
P.A.L.S., or Pets Are Loving Support, is a non-profit organization that provides food and basic veterinary care to the pets of senior citizens, those who are critically ill, or disabled people in the Atlanta area who are unable to work. P.A.L.S. allows those suffering from severe illnesses or critical disabilities to keep their pets despite any financial difficulties.
Founded in 1966, PAWS Atlanta is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing homeless animals with love, medical care, training, and nutrition until they are able to find a safe home. PAWS Atlanta also offers low cost vaccines, spay and neutering services, and pet adoptions.
