Obituary For Ainsley F.

Ainsley brought so much joy into our home, with her endless tail wages, her desire to be a lapdog despite being a big girl, and her love for walks and exploring. She was a top-notch beggar, but she had exquisite manners, looking on politely at dinner time until she was given a doggie treat, which was always placed on a little dish in hopes she would think we were all sharing the same thing.

Despite appearances that suggested she was a "fierce" pit bull mix, Ainsley was not the most courageous girl. As a puppy, she got lost on a hiking trail with her Mom, and it started to get dark. Mom carried her big baby-- already around 30 pounds-- close to a mile back to civilization.

Ainsley is proof indestructible dog toys and "long-lasting chews" are a myth. A label promising up to 72 hours of chewing time was meaningless to her. Those chewies were reduced to nothing within twenty minutes.

Sweet girl, the house will never be the same without you. If we adopt another rescue in your honor, we hope you'll watch over us all. I'll love you forever..

Candles & Memories

Hi there. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Ainsley. Thank you so much for sharing her story! It's obvious from your words that she meant a tremendous amount to you and your family 😊. And you are correct in that dogs pit bulls do get a bad rap and can be some of the sweetest and most gentle dogs. Our pets do bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and she will live on in your heart forever. RIP Ainsley.
