Obituary For Apollo Cohen
Apollo, colloquially known as Apollo Boxer, passed away at his home in Atlanta on December 3, 2024. He was a great pet and companion. Apollo always wanted to be around his family. He loved going for walks and car rides. Apollo was the little engine who could.
Apollo had a big heart and would always greet anyone who came to the door. He also wasn't against escaping his confinement in his home. When he was a puppy, he was able to escape his grandparent's backyard by going under the fence. He did know a good thing when he saw it, as he ended up at the front door wanting back inside.
Apollo would always follow anyone into the kitchen to beg for food. He enjoyed human food, especially broccoli and chicken tenders. The only human food he didn't like was lettuce.
Apollo's grandmother was always asking for an off switch to him. Apollo's great grandmother referred to him as a vilde chaya. Apollo's cousin gave him the nickname of Lick Attack.
Apollo loved playing with his family's pets. He was the pack leader and made sure to put the various family's dogs in their place.
Apollo loved his fluffy bone, bottle of wine and Tito’s vodka toys. He loved cuddling with his human family and kissing everyone he met.
Apollo is survived by his Uncle Riley and his cousins Chance and Rex. He was predeceased by his Uncle Mickey, cousin Samson and his brother Rocky.
A memorial for Apollo has not been scheduled yet, but will be forthcoming.
