Obituary For Bean Young

Bean was the most confident, comfortable kitty I have ever met in my life. We brought him home (a birthday present for my 40th birthday from my husband) from PAWS Atlanta. The moment he stepped out of the carrier into our home, the sense I got from him was, "Oh, finally. I've been waiting to get back here." I was surprised he'd been rehomed 3 times before he got to us, but when he was 6 months old, our amazing vet noticed he had an unusual situation with his mouth-- which means he'd been living with pain in his mouth for most of his life and thought it was normal. Once we treated that issue, he truly thrived. Not that you would have ever known he was sick; nothing bothered him. Ever. He was social, playful, intelligent and accepting. He loved feet, shoes, heating pads, being outside, hunting, eating, and reminding you he existed all the time. My husband likes to say, "He is the derpiest cat who ever lived." He is very, very missed. I hope he finds us again, sooner than later. Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean!
