Benjamin Matlock, Attorney at Paw Dec. 10, 2012 - Apr. 30, 2026 It is with heavy hearts and unforgettable memories that we say our earthly goodbyes to Benjamin Matlock, Attorney at Paw. Joining our family as a puppy, Benjamin quickly became an irreplaceable part of our hearts. The only thing that could beat pup cups, shredded carrots, and endless treats was the never-ending snuggles from his human Nonna and his human sissies Amy and Charlie (and occasionally terrorizing his other human sister Catherine and human Papa). You could always find Benjamin curled up in his favorite banana shaped bed or under foot during zoom meetings, trying to steal attention—quite successfully indeed. Benjamin never missed an opportunity to make his human brother Mike pay the Cheese Tax anytime the refrigerator door open. He was truly a quirky, cheerful, and sometimes mischievous little Love Bug! Benjamin started life as a country boy, living on the family farm with Nonna and Papa, running and playing with his fur sister Milly, who he guarded and cared for until her passing. In his later years, Benjamin took to the city life when he moved in with Amy, Charlie, and Mike after the passing of his Nonna. City life treated Benjamin well, having lived his early years as a wild country boy and his later years as a city prince. Though we will miss the morning sing-a-longs, midnight kisses, and never having privacy in the bathroom, we will remember fondly our time with Benjamin Matlock, Attorney at Paw. And, much how Benjamin never stopped grinning, his memories will always put a smile on our faces.
