Boeing Jett Reid crossed the rainbow bridge Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at home peacefully surrounded by his Mom and Dad and his 16 year old sister, Bella. Born December 7, 2009 in Arizona, Boeing was adopted by our son, Gregory Blucher at the age of 8 weeks. Boeing came to live with us on September 17, 2010 (at the age of 9 months) after our son moved to Dubai and couldn't take Boeing. He soon became a beloved member of our family!

Boeing's favorite activities were eating, walking, swimming, trail hiking, camping and fishing (although he was terrible at this because he couldn't stay out of the water). He was the best trail budding according to his Dad. If we're being totally honest, Boeing LOVED everything life had to offer as long as he could do it with his family!

More than anything, Boeing loved his DAD and doing everything with him.

Boeing was diagnosed with Subcutaneous Spindle Cell Sarcoma on June 21, 2021. He went in for a routine fatty tumor removal and it was discovered it was something far worse. He almost bled to death on the table, but his doctor saved his life at that time. We took him to UGA Veterinary Hospital to see if there was anything we could do for him. Unfortunately, it would have been far too much to go through at the age of (almost) 12. We were told without surgery (which is what they recommended that he had 2-6 months to live. We decided to give him the BEST life possible for his remaining time. He got to do everything he loved for 5 months until he succumbed to his illness.

We will think of Boeing every time we pop popcorn. We will miss him every time we camp, hike, fish, and walk. We will carry him with us wherever we go in whatever we do!

He will be forever missed and forever remembered. He left us with his undying love and dedication.
