Obituaries

He was the first pet that was my own, and nothing will ever compare to the first time I got to hold him. I treasured him from the day I got him to the day he died. He was my baby. My Chip. I will forever miss him and his little face. The one that looked just like a chocolate chip. Nothing will ever come close to replacing him, and no other animal will ever set foot into his little giraffe house, his wheel, or his blanket. A piece of myself and my heart will always belong completely to him. I hope he knew just how much I loved him. Even if he was just a hedgehog, happiness followed him wherever he went, and I hope more than anything that he knew he was so, so loved. By me and by those who took care of him when I couldn't. Thank you for being a part of my life Chip, even if it was only for three short years.
