Picking up a street puppy in front of Walker's Bar during the summer of 2016 in Athens, Ga was the best decision I’ve ever made. I knew it would eventually end in heartbreak, but this perfect puppy was worth trading every second of grief for the years of joy Dot gave us. This baby taught me unconditional love. She copiloted every road trip - as long as there were water cups and constant pets along the way. She never failed to greet a stranger with several licks to the face and never met a stick she wouldn't bite. Our hearts are broken, but I would relive the last 8 years a million times over just to experience the pure joy & love she couldn't help but give.
