Fierce, affectionately known as Buke Buke, Boof, Sweet Pea, and Sunshine our favorite four-legged fur baby boy, departed from us on Monday, June 21, 2021.

Fierce came into Wayne's life in March of 2010, because his daughter Delicia spotted that handsome puppy Rottweiler with a patch of white hair on his chest It was initially Fierce and Wayne against the world, and along came Lillian, and Fierce lovingly welcomed Lillian into the family. Although Fierce was very welcoming, Lillian was fearful. Fierce did everything he could and eventually won Lilian over. Fierce and Lillian were inseparable. Fierce was so excited to have a Dog Dad and Mom!

Throughout the years, Fierce always seemed to know how to comfort all of us, even in our darkest moments. From pressing his face against the window until he gets a laugh from one of us, to hiding the ball or toy under his body when he was tired of playing catch, or his special diet of Rotisserie chicken with a side of Dog food. Fierce was a creature of habit and until the end always made sure his family was safe.

We will be holding a private memorial service on the deck where Fierce enjoyed lounging and truly living his best life. We will be planting a seed in our garden to honor and remember our beloved Fierce. He was truly our best friend and will be greatly missed.
