Obituary For Franklin Alexander Jensen

Oh Franklin... my sweet boy, best friend, furryboo, #littledoginabigcity, bubs, bubbie, lovie, Franklinstein, Lieutenant Frank, Frank the tank, Frank Frank, Mr biscuit maker, Frankie J, Franklin Alexander Jensen- you took your last breath surrounded by your Momma, Daddy, and so much love on March 17th.

Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, raised in Wilmington, and retired in Atlanta (I think we did things backwards bubs), you brought so much joy to everyone you met. You frequented Savannah, Gatlinburg, and Myrtle Beach because unless there was no option, you always came with.

A lover of ball, tomatoes, advent calendars, and water... you fought so hard until the very end and in the end, did so so good. I am so proud of you. You had 4 beds in a 750 square foot apartment but later in life chose the blanket life. You loved lion and had a remarkable libido until just a few years ago. You loved outside and going for walks- but not nearly as much as stopping every 5 feet to mark your territory. In your younger years you loved a big pile of laundry, in your later years it was a spot in the sun to sunbathe. You dined al fresco, swam in pools, ran on beaches, visited National Parks, perused farmer's markets, helped with Sunday Suppers, went on road trips, flew first class, had your own plate on Thanksgiving (and most nights too), snuggled, cuddled, and loved- when it was your time we didn't need to make a Bucket List because you had done it all.

I am forever grateful for the unconditional love, companionship, and comfort you gave me every single day for over 17 years. I was destined to be your Momma. From my 20s to my late 30s- I've only known life with you in it. You had the best Daddy who loved you as much as I did- which I never thought was possible. Everyone who met you loved you. You had a better personality than most people. You brought me so much joy. You are- you were- you always will be- the sunshine of my life.

Franklin was such a special sweet guy. He made everyone around him fall in love with him. He had the cutest little puppy face, even when he was older. I am so sorry for the pain that you feel now. You're both in my heart and prayers. I will miss you little man. Grandma
