Obituary For Golden Anderson-Best

Golden, my sweet precious girl. You have been such a joy in our lives. I remember when I first saw you, you were the smallest pup out of all your brothers and sisters. My heart just gravitated towards you. You weren’t just any ordinary dog. I knew ever since you were little, you were so strong and independent. As a lot of pups would whine when in their crate, you would just lie there, quietly, waiting for mommy, nana, or papa to come back. I do not think it’s a coincidence for Dog backwards to be spelled God. You provided so much love and concern when any of us was sick or sad. You laid by our side providing comfort and warmth. You would always greet us when one of us came through the door. You were so strong that even through your pain, you still ran and played like you were a puppy again. Thank you Golden for being part of the most critical years of my life and our family. I know you are right next to Jesus waiting to greet your family when it is time for us to come through the heavenly door. Have fun playing with the angels my baby girl. You are free! We love you!

From the beginning, you were a comfort, a loyal companion, and a godlike presence watching over your family. My heart is filled with sorrow and gratitude for your life. The sorrow is a bit selfish because even a hundred years would not be enough. The gratitude is for all the years your brought joy and love to our life.     Golden was the best dog ever, we shared so many great memories. Golden was so loving and caring and always aiming to please. I was a sucker for her big eyes and the way she would circle me and tap her feet on the floor to let me know she wanted a treat. It's so sad that Golden is gone and her presence is surely missed. RIP Golden sweet girl. Poppa will never forget you.

    Nana's Sweet Girl Is Gone. My Heart Hurts, But I Know Love Won Over Selfishness Today. May 2009 Golden came into our lives, a gift for Dionna Nicole RN, then a gift for us all. Golden became and was family. Thank you sweet girl for your unconditional love, being the first one to greet everyone at the door, in our sickness you literally stayed by our side and gave comfort. You would lay your head down and look at us with concern in your big golden brown eyes. You would alert the entire family when someone was at the front door. I miss my work buddy, and my four legged shadow. Golden, my sweet girl, thank you for your pure love.
