Obituary For Goliath Turner

Some may say Goliath was lucky to find a family after he was found in that parking lot, skinny and alone, in 2017. However, we know we were the lucky ones. G's life was full of love and belly rubs. We will miss his way of pawing and gurgling to communicate, the way his feet dragged the floor when he walked, and the way he galloped when he got excited. Nothing will ever replace his spotted nose, crooked little teeth, and pink elbows. We know he is now somewhere there is always a fresh, cool breeze to stand and sniff and an air vent blowing 24/7 for him to lie on, resting easy knowing he was the best protector and friend we could have ever asked for.

Although we only got 4 years with you, we know that no amount of time would have ever been enough. Our little zoo will never be the same without you, but we promise to love on Bennett, Franklin, and Walter a little extra for you. We will love and miss you forever, G.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Goliath. He's so beautiful. I unfortunately can identify with your grief and feelings of emptiness. May you be comforted knowing that you rescued Goliath and he rescued all of you. May God's grace be with you always Pam
