Obituary For Henry Hargreaves

Walking into the humane society, the first thing I saw was a small, white dog jumping with excitement. Henry chose us that day, and we are forever thankful for that.

Henry was a ball of joy and would put a smile on the face of anyone who saw him. He was definitely not a guard dog. In fact, he would have invited everyone in if he could have. When someone walked up to him, he would roll on his back to get belly rubs. Henry touched the lives of every person that he came in contact with.

Henry enjoyed going for walks, taking naps, doing tricks, eating treats, snuggling, making TikTok videos, and trying to sneak mom's food when she wasn't looking.

Henry was diagnosed with Gastrointestinal Lymphoma in December and we thought that was the end, but he proved everyone wrong. He fought hard and gave us 7 months we weren't supposed to have. Even when Henry was sick, you couldn't tell. He never lost his spunk and always wanted to have a good time. He was truly a miracle.

Our family is forever thankful to the fantastic veterinary team that loved Henry and gave him the best care. Every person in the vet office knew Henry by name and treated him like family.

We find comfort in knowing that Henry is running around in Heaven, free of cancer. We know he is waiting for us on the Rainbow Bridge and will greet us by jumping for joy, just like the day he chose us.

Henry, Thank you for the love you have given our family over the last eight years. Thank you for fighting for more time with us. Thank you for the snuggles, kisses and joy you gave us. We miss you so much and know we will be reunited again some day. Love, Mom and Dad
