Obituary For Jax Johnson Rodriguez

I’ve always said Jax is the love of my life. He was with me for over 15-years & the greatest blessing. He has been by my side through all the good times & the bad.

When I went to look for a cat to adopt, I saw a scraggly looking 3-month old kitten. He was in a cage alone & looked sickly. I was unsure & also wondering why he was alone. I was standing near his cage, but looked over to the cage next to his with three kittens inside when I felt something on my chest. Jax had pushed his way through the cage door & placed his paw directly over my heart. I said, "That's it! He's mine!"

Jax's paw touched my heart that first day I met him & he has left a permanent paw print on my heart for the rest of my life. 🖤🐾
