Obituary For Jeter Konstanty

Today we said goodbye to our sweet Jeter, and our hearts feel impossibly heavy. We’ve had him since he was just six weeks old—far too young to be away from his mom—so from the very beginning, we became his whole world, and he became ours. Jeter didn’t care much for toys or other dogs; he had no use for them. All he ever wanted was to be loved by people, to be pet, held, and close to those he adored. He was the smartest boy—never needed a leash, never ran away—because home was wherever we were. He lived a life full of love, from staying with Ryan at App State, to his time in Greensboro with Hunter, who was truly his person and best friend. He was Dad’s constant companion, Ryan’s best snuggler, and Mom was his real mom in every way that mattered. A year ago we lost Molly, and while it still hurts deeply, there is comfort in knowing they are together again. Our house already feels quieter without him, and we’ll even miss sweeping the floors ten times a day just to keep up with his hair. Jeter gave us unconditional love, loyalty, and so many memories we’ll carry forever. Rest easy, sweet bubba. You were so deeply loved, and you always will be. Thank you for loving us as much as we loved you.

Hello. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Jeter. Thank you so much for sharing some of his amazing story. I can see he meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on you and your family. And what a handsome boy 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Jeter.
