My dearest Kimmy Cat, it is with a heavy heart that I must acknowledge your untimely passing. August 19, 2017, was the day you entered my life and my heart. When I first told your Grandma I would meet you, she exclaimed, " Erika, we're not even cat people!" It turned out that she fell in love with you at first sight, and so did I. We have been to many places and have had many adventures together. You were with me through some of my lowest moments and some of my best moments. From Cape May NJ to the Frankford section of Philadelphia PA, to Sicklerville NJ, and finally to Georgia, you were with me every step of the way. Chewing on my toes, making the best biscuits, long slow blinks, laying my chest or shoulders, purring and chirping and cuddling. You expressed your love to your brothers and me in so many ways and the house is so empty without you. Our hearts are so empty without you. We love you forever and ever and we know you are still here with us.

Kimba Lionel "Kimmy" Miller-Land was Born on June 15th, 2017 in the home of Mrs. Canizzo. Erika's friend Alicia Sloan knew she was looking for a cat and put them in contact. The rest is history. Kimba is survived by his mother Erika Miller-Land, "Mom Mom" Michele Miller, "Pop Pop" Anderson Land Jr, Brothers Cole and Fifty, Aunty Molly, Aunty Janiece Robinson (nee Dukes), Uncle Lakeis Robinson, Aunty Janee Mcbride (nee King), Uncle Claxton "Martese" Brown and a host of family and friends. Kimmy loved table food from his Mom Mom Michele, his mansion that overlooked the backyard, his brothers, and most of all his mom Erika.

No eager purrs to greet me.
No softly padded paws to run
Ecstatically to meet me.

No coaxing rubs, no plaintive cry
Will say it’s time for feeding.
I’ve put away your bowl, and all
The things you won’t be needing;

But I will miss you little friend,
For I could never measure
The happiness you brought me,
The comfort and the pleasure.

And since God put you here to share
In earthly joy and sorrow;
I’m sure there’ll be a place for you
In Heaven’s bright tomorrow…
