Obituary For Lexey Max Elkerson
Lexey Max was an affectionate and playful Yorkie who we inherited our parents passed away. He was initially my Mother's dog and he was the "light" of her life and she loved him very much.
After my mother passed away in 2015, my stepfather continued to care for Lexey because he also loved him very much. My stepfather passed away in 2019 and so then my husband and I inherited Lexey. So much change to endure for such a little dog.
Lexey stole the hearts of my husband and I, although we knew that he was a sweet dog when my parents were alive because we got to know him when we visited them. Lexey had an playful personality and loved to play, but he also loved to cuddle on a soft blanket. His favorite snacks were called "Jumbones" and he would go crazy whenever he saw the bag and knew he was about to get one. He was very well-trained to go outside to do his business and he was easy to care for.
We will miss him very much and we continued to grieve his loss. We become tearful when we think of him and we pray that he is up in heaven resting in peace and reunited with my mother and stepfather.
RIP Lexey and know that we loved you very much. Bye-bye sweet boy!!
