Obituary For Libby St Romain

On Monday, April 29th Libby crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. She joins her brothers Odie and Buster. She went to sleep right at my feet in the dog bed under the desk taking her last breath. She had succumbed to cancer. She had another soft cell sarcoma growth while reviewing the test in preparation for the removal of the second growth, a large tumor in the lungs and a spot spleen were discovered. We opted not to go through a second major survey knowing that my sweet little girl would most likely succumb to this disease. She is no longer suffering from cancer or in any pain. She will be greatly missed. I still expect her to greet me at the top of the stairs when I walk into the house.

Below are some of my favorite memories from the first day we met at an Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and we're only gonna foster her. We FAILED, twice more with Odie and Buster. Falling asleep with her favorite bone, first Christmas, first day in her very own backyard, enjoying car rides, wanting to drive to the dog park herself, and so many more.

This led to a great experience of fostering at best guess over 250 fosters through our house. Like KIA whom was adopted byKay Brautgam who was with us for 364 days before finding her furever home.

Hi there. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Libby. Thank you so much for sharing her story. It's tough to hear about all she endured. But thank you giving her her best life while she was here. You are obviously a huge animal lover and thank you also for all you do! And what a precious face on that sweet girl 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and she will live on in your heart forever. RIP Libby.
