Lucas was a beautiful 11-year-old golden retriever. He had many nicknames such as sleepy, luke, bubba and the sweetest of boys." He came to me by accident one spring day in 2011. His energy and love came to me at a time when I needed it the most in my life. We were attached at the hip. Everywhere I went, Lucas was always a few steps behind me. He enjoyed sunbathing, chasing balls and getting his back rubbed. His favorite type of food was anything with meat 🙂 All the kids in my family always asked, "where is Lucas" when he wasn't around. He was SO loved by everyone and even by people who had never met him in person but only seen his photos throughout the years.
