Obituary For Lucy Whiting

Lucy, our beloved dog and faithful companion, passed away at the age of 17.

For nearly two decades, Lucy filled our home with a quiet kind of love: steady, gentle, and unwavering. She was the definition of a good soul: kind, patient, and non-aggressive, with a calm presence that made everyone around her feel loved.

Lucy didn’t need to demand attention to be noticed; her warmth spoke for itself, and her soft way of loving left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her.

More than anything, Lucy had a gift for comfort. In difficult moments, she seemed to know exactly when we needed her most—resting close by, offering a nudge, or simply staying near in that reassuring way only she could. She shared our joys and carried us through our hardest days, reminding us that love can be quiet and still be powerful.

Lucy leaves behind a home that feels emptier without her, and hearts forever shaped by her devotion. We will miss her deeply, remember her always, and remain grateful for every year, every look, and every moment of comfort she gave so freely.

Rest peacefully, sweet Lucy. You are so loved.
