Obituary For Luther Vandross James

Luther came to us as a blessing from a family member on 11/11/2005. During his 16 years of life, he in turn blessed us with so much love and many memories to cherish. He showed us how to live, love and laugh. We will miss him dearly for the rest of our lives. What I will miss the most is the cuddles, kisses and how every morning, he would meet me with a meow at the side of the bed and massage my feet with his soft little head. He was my last surviving baby and he meant the world to me.

Luther was preceded in death by his 2 sisters; Ginger Penelope (2008), Aaliyah Dana (2018) and 1 brother; Mateo Max (2015).

He leaves to cherish his memory; Human Mom, Paulette James; Human Dad, Donovan James; Human little brother and best friend, Donovan “DJ” James.

    Luther was the sweetest cat. When I was younger, I looked forward to seeing and playing with him when I visited my auntie. Luther will be missed. ❤️

    I am happy for the years of Luther's lige that I got to see him upstairs hiding in his parents room, in hallway saying hello while feeding him or just peaking to be curious about me or Demi when visiting. I know he will surely be missed but his precious memories will live on...
