Obituary For Mackenzie AKA Kenzie

Mackenzie was my sidekick for 12 years. She and I were both born in the Year of the Ox-- making us a strong team. Kenzie would never let a closed door separate us. She insisted on daily walks which kept us both healthy and connected to our neighbors who loved Kenzie as well.
May 24th would have been her 17th birthday which will be celebrated by her friends & neighbors with the spreading of her ashes.

Dear Joyce so sorry to hear of Mackenzie's passing. We met her a few times at Mona and Paul's. Know that you are in mine and Marcus's thoughts. "Stranger by the roadside do not smile When you see this grave, though it is only a dog's, My master wept when I died, and his own hand laid me in earth and wrote these lines on my tomb..."

Kenzie was a wonderful dog and she loved her mama fiercely! They took daily walks so she was a well known fixture in our neighborhood. She loved treats from some neighbors who usually had them for her! She will be greatly missed!

Hi there. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Mackenzie. Thank you so much for sharing some of her story. I can see she meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on your life. And what a pretty girl 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and she will live on in your heart forever. RIP Mackenzie.
