Obituary For Maggie Mae

Maggie Mae I thought I rescued you, but it turns out you rescued me. I am forever grateful for the unconditional love and support you gave me through all of our ups and downs in life. You loved to run, take long walks, and sit on the beach. You were timid of just about anything, but remained gentle and sweet to your very last breath. You loved following me around the kitchen hoping I was cooking up a good meal for you or to at least share with you. You enjoyed long car rides and feeling the wind in your face. You got very excited anytime we went to McDonald’s for double cheeseburgers. You had the best protective instincts and kept me safe when I needed it most. I can only pray that you ran straight to Marmi when you got to Heaven. I know she has lots of treats waiting. I love you always and forever Maggie Mae.

Maggie or Mags , the dog who was unsure of why I was in her space when we met, but who came to love me and let me know who was the boss- you were! You always were happy and had that fun , "let's go" energy. You took good care of your mom and were the most loyal companion to her. You were loved greatly and will be missed every day.

Hi there. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Maggie Mae. Thank you so much for sharing some of her story. I can see she meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on your life. And what a pretty girl 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and she will live on in your heart forever. RIP Maggie May.
