Obituary For Marley Valentine

Our sweet boy Marley passed away at home on Friday, July 11, 2025. After meeting Marley in March of 2011 and instantly knowing he was the pick of his litter, I anxiously awaited bringing my baby boy home a few weeks later. He was named after the great Bob Marley (in honor of a favorite song) and since he was born on Valentine's day, it was only right to make that his middle name. Marley was so loving, chill and relaxed and instantly fit right in.

Over the last 14 years, Marley has been like a child for us. He loved to cuddle, lay around and run outside. He was so smart and protective and gave us endless laughs and so much joy. Marley enjoyed taking naps alongside his mommy & long walks with his daddy. Marley wasn't the dog to do lots of tricks but as soon as you said “outside”, he would let you know how excited he was. Marley's constant companionship has been the purest source of unconditional love and we will carry him with us always.

Thank you for being such a loving friend and we hope you’re resting in peace. You’re always in our hearts, Marley.

You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Marley. Thank you so much for sharing the pics and some of his awesome story. I can see he meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on your life. And what a precious little face 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Marley.
