Obituary For Mishka Bhawnani
I had walked into a pet store to purchase bird food and noticed a black and tan little ball of fur. Upon closer look, she was not well. I held her. I cuddled her. I secured her. She had Kennel cough which was treated immediately. Mishka was a spunky, mettlesome, and high-spirited dog. She was vocal and used her bark and facial expressions to exhibit her emotions. Whether she was leading a jailbreak from a fenced yard, impersonating Oscar the Grouch, or hustling and conning for a treat, she never wavered from her mantra: “I got chunks of you in my poopie.”
She defined the terms of her life. She had a penchant for chewing and this habit took her life. She ingested an indigestible; this led to an intestinal obstruction. She became septic after her surgery. A second surgery was too risky. It was time for Mishka to cross over.
She is survived by sister Gracie, myself, and many friends. She is and will always be alive in our hearts, thoughts, and stories.
We will always love Mishka Babushka.
