Obituary For Miz Mitchell

Miz crossed the Rainbow Bridge after an incredibly brave battle with lymphoma on September 12, 2023. A shy, yet loving girl, she was found along with her brother Michi, dumped in a field by a busy road in Adairsville, GA as a five-week-old kitten.

She recovered from her initial circumstances, she found great comfort with her other siblings and the laps of her humans. Known as an "aggressive snuggler", she would barge her way into the middle of other cats cuddling together. She would also make sure they all were extra clean and provide baths for all of them. She was known for her extra helpful manner of pre-furring any clean laundry, especially any white laundry. She knew that her humans had little to no fur on them, so she would donate hers to their clean laundry to make sure they were safe and warm for the day ahead. She also made sure that her humans were properly woken up every morning with kisses in the form of a rough tongue bath. When not cuddling, she could often be found sunbathing, "rusting" her black fur to a slight orange. She also had a game where she would have a toy brought to her so she could lightly bat at it, as it appeared she did not know how to hunt properly. The many childlocks on the cabinets will serve as an eternal monument to her lockpicking skills, including the time when she freed herself from a carrier and only was recaptured because she was too busy strutting about her victory.

She will now rejoin her siblings who preceded her in death; Kiyone, Tenchi, Lilly, Sasha, and Harley. She is survived by her parents, her older brother Dexter, her littermate Michi, and her weird, goofy, louder, canine sister Yahtzee. May she rest in an eternal spot of warm next to a river of churu until we all meet again.
