Obituary For Nyx Chun

Cats like Nyx don't come around often. The ones that radiate affection. The ones that always want to be held, smooched, and snuggled as the little spoon. Her belly was never a trap. Always so regal and composed. Worn soft and wise by love. A little scraggly in the fur, maybe slower to rise as the years went on, but every whisker soaked in a lifetime of love and trust.

Like the Velvetine Rabbit, she was made real not just in the storybook sense, but in the truest sense. A living, breathing reminder that love is what makes us matter, even as the years change us.

I'll miss you and your magnificent whiskers, sweet girl.

You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Nyx. Thank you so much for sharing some of her amazing story. I can see she meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on your life. And what an awesome face 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and she will live on in your heart forever. RIP Nyx.
