Obituaries

Oz was the only kitten to survive a litter of street kittens a family member took in. He grew up in a home where pets are treated like little furry humans. With a German Shepherd sister, a husky-lab brother, and a mystery mutt cousin, Oz was always surrounded by creatures bigger than him but always knew he was the boss. He slept where he wanted, ate what and when he pleased, and was always ready to let you know when he was displeased. But he was also ready with a head butt or snuggle when he knew you needed it. And he always knew just where to lay so that you knew he was there for you. He was a quiet pillar of strength during some of my toughest moments and a wonderful companion. Oz, you will be greatly missed. Run free, buddy. We’ll see you again someday.
