Obituary For Patch Robinson
In loving memory of Patch, our cherished Jack Russell Terrier, who crossed the rainbow bridge on April 5, 2024, in our hometown in Griffin, Georgia, his favorite home. Rescued and welcomed into our family on April 4, 2021, Patch’s arrival marked the beginning of a love-filled chapter in our lives. With his distinctive white coat, one solid black ear, and one black-speckled ear, he was a beacon of joy and the epitome of kindness.
Patch was not just any dog; he was a testament to the power of love and the spirit of resilience. When he found his forever home with us at 8 and a half years old, Patch quickly proved that age is but a number when it comes to forming deep, lasting bonds. Despite being a senior, he brought an immense amount of love and happiness into our lives, teaching us the true meaning of unconditional love.
Known for his gentle nature, Patch was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. His unique allergy to protein never dampened his spirits, thanks to the unwavering care and attention of his beloved mom, Carrie. Patch and Carrie shared an unbreakable bond, akin to Velcro, showcasing a remarkable example of mutual love and devotion.
Patch was a source of unconditional love, a beacon of kindness, and a true friend. His journey with Carrie and his loving Dad, Andy, though shorter than we had hoped, was filled with love, joy, and precious memories that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
As we navigated the difficult decision to say goodbye, we were comforted by the knowledge that Patch’s final moments were filled with love, surrounded by those who cherished him most. In facing his sudden health challenges with grace, Patch reminded us of the strength found in vulnerability and the peace that comes with letting go.
Patch leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and the reminder to cherish every moment with those we hold dear. He is survived by his loving family, including his rescuer and mom, Carrie, who cared for him with unmatched devotion; his Dad, Andy; and his Jack Russell sibling, Chief, who lives with a family in another state and shared in the joys and adventures of life with him.
As we bid farewell to our dear Patch, we find solace in knowing that he is now at peace, free from discomfort, and forever a part of the hearts he touched. We will always remember our kind and gentle Patch, a beloved family member and a friend to all.
Rest in peace, dear Patch. Your paw prints and big smile will forever remain in our hearts.
