They say you don't adopt a cat, they adopt you. Truer words couldn't be more true about Rattlesnake. He showed up 1 day, started sleeping on our cars and got his meals on the porch. One day he decided he wanted to come in, and the rest is history. We were never really sure how old he was, the guess was 3ish by the look of him. He was one of those cats that even if you say you weren't a cat fan, you could fall for. Rattlesnake got diagnosed with diabetes about 4yrs ago. If it was any of my other cats, I'm not sure how much of a struggle it would've been to give them insulin. Rattllesnake took it in stride, twice a day all the way to the end. The world won't be the same without him.
