Obituary For Rowdy Ament

Rowdy was a sweet, playful, and tragic little guy. Having contracted FeLV at a very young age, he was picked up as a tiny and weak little kitten and taken to a local animal shelter. He spent several months getting better and waiting to be adopted out. He found a great home with loving parents, a cat brother, and a dog brother.

After an initial adjustment period, he found his little voice. It was that of a jerk. He out-maneuvered his cat brother for toys and took swats at his much larger dog brother. He would box his parents in the face if we did not give him the proper amount of attention. He was a combination Ninja assassin, Joe Pesci, and Chucky. But he also cuddled with Mom, played with Dad, and slept a lot. He took cat toys and other objects from around the house and moved them. Some day we will find his little lair of treasures and laugh.

His FeLV got the better of him after about six months in his final home. Not long on this Earth, but long enough to be remembered and missed, always. Goodbye, my Little Rowdy Monster Cat.
