Obituary For Roxy Lopez

We got Roxy when she was 1 years old. Her former owner had medical problems and couldn’t keep her anymore. We got her from the Gaston County animal shelter. The first time I saw her, is when I knew she was the one. My mom had passed on June 11, 2008, and my husband thought to get me a dog to help me grieve and comfort me. Roxy warmed my heart and made me smile everyday. For the past 15 years, our baby girl has made us laugh and given us so many memories. We loved taking her to Missouri for Christmas to share her with family and they fell in love with her right away. She was always happy and would let you do anything to her. She just wanted to be loved and taken care of. She loved playing with tennis balls and squeaky toys which we had to take away or she would have swallowed them. She was loved by my husband, son Michael and daughter Angelina, along with lots of aunts and uncles and grandparents, cousins and most of all, spoiled by me, her mommy ❤️. No other dog can or will replace her. She will always be loved and missed so much. I know we will be with her again. We love you baby girl. You’re free 🦮🐾💜

You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss of Roxy. I can see she had a wonderful smile 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and she will live on in your heart forever. RIP Roxy.
