17 years ago I found a little orange furball outside my apt. His eyes were stuck shut with eye infection and he was too tiny to be on his own. I ran him down and caught him with a towel and my he was fierce, spat and hissed at the big scary thing. My little warrior. For 17 years he slept next to me and guarded me. He never took to anyone else. We should all have such loyalty. Today at 9 AM he passed from this world. I told him he did good and he could stand down now. Well done, thou good and faithful guardian. Be at peace now.
