She entered our lives during a storm – she departed our lives as a ray of sunshine. For nearly 20 years, the small cuddly bundle of fur we named Sadie brought unconditional love, joy and companionship to our family. Far more astute than most humans she taught many life lessons. The bond she developed with both my wife and I cemented our bond even tighter. Often acting like a dog she would come, fetch, and command your hand to rub her belly. She even opened her own doors by jumping on the handle, pulling down the lever with her front paws while pushing off the door frame with her back paws. Simply amazing is quite the understatement….a bit biased – maybe a little, but truthfully, not much!!! Sadie will be forever missed in the flesh, but her soul will reign eternal.
