Obituary For Sankofa Goldie Jackson McNeal

On April 7, 2023, after almost 16 years, Sankofa “Goldie Jackson” McNeal transitioned to her final resting place back with her creator. Sankofa moved to Georgia from Texas in 2009. The word "Sankofa" means go back and bring forth the good things. The Sankofa symbol is a bird looking backwards while flying forward. This dog was truly a good thing always moving forward! Sankofa had an inner and outer beauty; a terrific sense of humor; a sweet disposition, and an outgoing personality. She was strong, determined and she loved unconditionally. I will miss our daily talks and walks. She leaves behind family, friends, and a host of admirers. Rest In Peace My Faithful Friend and BFF.

    Rest in peace Sankofa. I was lucky to have met you during Christmas one year, when you were an award winner.
