Dr. Angela Jackson purchased a four-month-old male Pomeranian puppy in June of 2009. She named him SIMBA. SIMBA quickly grew to be a part of the family. He was a beautifully spirited, mild-mannered soul. He didn't bark much, wasn't very picky, was easy to train, loved other dogs (especially Hannah), and always seemed happy. He had more than his fair share of dog beds, toys, treats, and most of all LOVE! SIMBA brought us almost 12 years of unconditional love through his diabetes, heart condition, cataracts, and ultimately kidney failure. Even on days when he didn't feel his best, we were always met with his wagging tail when we arrived home. On Monday, February 15, 2021, we held our SIMBA close, told him that we loved him and he had been the best dog that we could have ever hoped for. SIMBA fell into a peaceful sleep after licking Angela's hand for the last time. While our hearts are aching at the loss of our beloved SIMBA, we find some solace in knowing that we gave him the best we had to give and SIMBA gave us unconditional love for almost 12 years.
