Obituaries

Squeaky was a stray/feral rescue cat, so I'm not sure of her exact year of birth, though we estimated it to be about 2009. She was one of the friendliest cats I've ever owned, one of the smartest and no doubt, the most talented. Squeaky is the only cat I've ever had who could catch cat treats directly into her mouth, and I once caught her hiding under my bed trying to tear open a bag of cat treats she had sneakily stolen from another room. I also dubbed her "Pizza Cat" (after the infamous NYC-subway "Pizza Rat") when she carried a slice of pizza from the kitchen counter into the hallway, where I put an end to her culinary crime spree, much to her disappointment. She was a tiny cat, with a big personality, and a BIG voice! She suffered a bit in the last few days of her life, so it was a relief when she finally passed, but I still miss her very much. RIP, Squeaky. 2009(?)-10/12/2021
