Obituary For Stetson Spengler

My dear Stetson lived 12 wonderful years and I was incredibly blessed to be his Mom and share amazing memories with him. Stetson loved to go for early morning walks and sniff everything along the way and visit a nearby park for more sniffing. He loved his Nyla bone like nothing else. He loved to snack, especially bananas and blueberries. He was very sneaky, loved to steal socks and throw them up in the air and wait for his applause and treat. He was fond of his little monkey who he would also love throwing up in the air with his mouth, also worthy of a treat. He loved to sniff pizza, once stealing a bite right out of my hand.

He was such a good boy, would protect me like no other. He was head of security in our household and made me feel so safe. He had the face of an angel but the bark of Cujo. He had the most amazing smile which was contagious. He would often pull the covers down for me when it was time for bed. He would often peek his head in the shower to make sure I was ok. He would let me brush his teeth without a fight as long as he was compensated with a treat.

He loved to wake up early to start his day and would be right at my bedside staring at me with his big brown eyes to let me know it was time for breakfast. He loved watching Golden Girls with me. I will especially miss our evening walks together and his goodnight kisses on my hand, sweetest smile, his unconditional love, and loyalty. He will be missed every second of every minute of every day.

    Dear Stetson, We still cannot believe that you are gone. But you are gone, only from this earth. We know you are very much alive in Heaven. When we'd see you, you were always such a happy happy boy. You had such a super smile! Behind that smile, nobody would ever guess all the health problems you endured. You were such a TROOPER! You had the bestest of the best moms who knew your every need and made SURE you had the very best care. In return for her unselfish care, you loved her and protected her like no other. We will ALL miss you, but we'll love you forever. Someday, we'll all see each other again. We thank you for taking such good care of your mom. She misses you tremendously. Until we all meet again, we send our love, knowing that you are no longer in pain. We are sending you a white candle because white signifies love and purity, and that so very much describes you.     While I did not know you or Stetson, I enjoyed your words of tribute about him. What is most important is that your baby knows that he was loved and he loved you. It is my hope that you can make peace with his rest as well as continue to find joy in your memories of him.

    I met sweet Stetson the first day you adopted him Jackie. What a blessing he was. Over the years he's brought so much joy not just to you but to everyone he meets. His smile was the best! I remember how he used to try and sit on my lap, he was so funny. I loved him dearly and my Coco did too. We will miss him so so much! I'm thinking about you Jackie and sending love, hugs and prayers.

    Our deepest sympathies are with you Jackie as you mourn the loss of Stetson and celebrate his life. He will forever be in your heart and ours. He was a gentle, happy guy who was so easy going. It was an honor and privilege to have him as a brother, cousin and care for him a him a summer ago. Stetson was the perfect Angel and we're so grateful God led you to one another and part of our family. We love you Stetson and thank you for taking such wonderful care of Jackie! We love you and enjoy playing with our fur family members - Lucky, Casey, Murphy, Brooklyn, Katie, and eating endless treats and pizza and playing w/bananas, socks, balls and monkey toys.     I loved him like no other. If love could have kept you alive he would have been alive forever. He was the best cousin ever his smile so contagious you could help but smile right back or just thoes big brown eyes that looked at you and you couldn't resist giving him a treat! I love you bubba I know you will be waiting at the door for Aunt jackie when she walks into the doors of Heaven 😘😘😘
