Obituary For Stripy (Professor) Sheppard

Stripy (Professor) passed peacefully at home surrounded by everyone he loved, at the age of 15 years and 4 months. He was the best friend of the Sheppard family and was especially close to his beloved owner Glen. His kindness and warmth to others was immediately shown, anyone who was a friend of the family was a friend of his. His gentle disposition was contrasted by his appearance, with a constant facial expression that looked almost identical to a sneer or scowl. His favorite hobbies included pawing at his owner for food, screaming for attention, snuggling, and basking in the warmth of the sun. His distinctive purr (which was once recorded at nearly 40 decibels) and snuggles will he missed by all who knew him.

So sorry for your loss of Stripy (Professor). Thank you so much for sharing some of his story. I can see he meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on your life. And what a precious face 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Stripy (Professor).
