Susie was a stray that had been roaming the streets of Porterdale for several weeks before we finally managed to get her to take food. It took a few more weeks to convince her that it was safe to come inside. Once inside, she worked her magic on everyone and made herself the center of the family.

Susie loved laying in the sun. Each day, she would move up the stairs following the sun as it came through the window. She also loved sitting out back on the deck watching the birds and squirrels or simply taking a nap.

Susie was an enormous presence and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her. We will miss being greeted at the back door and especially the feeding and treat reminders that she was so famous for.
