As we reflect on Toby's life, we're reminded of the significance of the dash – the time between his birthday and the day he passed away. The dash represents the essence of Toby: his quirky personality, his playful spirit, and his unwavering loyalty. It's the accumulation of countless moments, big and small, that made Toby the beloved companion he was.

The decision to let Toby go was one of the hardest that had to made. But it was a decision made with the deepest love and respect for him. We wanted to spare him suffering and ensure that his final moments were peaceful and dignified.

As we say goodbye to our dear Toby, we take comfort in the memories we shared with him. We remember his antics, his watching tv, him following Gail all over the house and his excitement each time she came home, his snuggles, and his unwavering enthusiasm for life. We remember the way he brightened up our days and the way he always knew how to make us smile.

Gail and Sean, in particular, shared a special bond with Toby, and he will forever hold a sacred place in their heart. Though he may be gone, his memory and spirit will continue to inspire us to live with more love, compassion, and kindness.
