Obituary For Toby Loeffler

On Tuesday, we had to say goodbye to the sweetest little dachshund boy. We got him when he was about 2 from a woman on a horse farm where he would attempt to run with them. In his youth, he was a jump first think second impulsive, protective, nervous Nelly, and somewhat neurotic whippersnapper. As he aged, he calmed a bit and realized he was safe with us and his miniature diva brother. After his brother passed, he lived another two and a half years to be around 18 and a half. He got to enjoy the single dog life, 100% attention, and all the cuddling and biscuits he could get. We got to bond with him on a whole new level and learn him like we never knew. Toby, you weren’t the brightest, but you were one of the greatest. You will truly be missed and know that you made our lives so much better, especially through all the hard times as we grew into adults. You were an incredible little man and we couldn’t be more proud to have called you ours for so many years. Also, he wanted everyone to know he had three beds throughout the house and also slept with his parents every night.

Hello. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm),. So sorry for your loss of little Toby. Thank you so much for sharing his story! I am sure he is romping around with his brother. Thank you so much for caring for him like you did and giving him his best life. I am sure he loved that. I can see he obviously meant the world to you and had a tremendous impact on you and your family. And what a handsome little face! 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and he will live on in your heart forever. RIP Toby.
