Obituaries

Our precious went to the Rainbow Bridge on 9/28/2020. We adopted Tuna from the Humane Society of Charlotte on 5/17/2020. She was 13 years old. Tuna had Cushing's Disease and was deaf. We saw her picture on the HSC website on 5/16/2020 and went and adopted her the next day. We knew we could provide a loving home for her and were also fortunate enough to meet her medical needs financially.

Our intention was to give her THE BEST life, for as long as she had on this earth. I think my husband and I accomplished this goal. She was loved so very much. Tuna was a Daddy's girl for sure and he loved her as much as she loved him and then some.

We would like to thank the Human Society of Charlotte for bringing her into our lives. We also want to thank Dr. Kathryn Skinner and staff and Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital for their love and compassion. She was sent off to the Rainbow Bridge at 9:30 am with so much love and peace.

We also want to thank Paws, Whiskers & Wags for their compassion and kindness. Until we meet again sweet girl, you have fun eating your sticks and snoring on all your blankets at the Rainbow Bridge. I know your fur siblings Ike and Goosy are waiting for you with open paws. We loved you at first sight and will love you forever. You left your paw prints on our hearts forever.
