Obituary For Winston Leonardo Kindle

On August 29, 2021, at the age of 11 years old, Winston took his last breath as his mother held him in her arms.

Winston entered this world on June 28, 2010 as the CUTEST tiny nugget with a larger-than-life personality. It was love at first sight for his human, who HAD to have him. For over 11 years, he put a smile on the faces of many, near and far. To know Winston was to love him.

Winston enjoyed spending time outside with his humans, eating all the treats he could fit into his little body, playing with his beloved Reindeer (and many other toys), taking naps, traveling with his mom, and always being by her side. He was known for his head tilts, frantically running away as soon as he heard the word "bath," digging and kicking things for attention, having the worst gas ever, making a mess, and many more silly antics.

Winston provided more than he will ever know: SO many funny stories and jokes, joy, responsibility, countless memories, and most importantly, love.

He will be severely missed with each passing day... and while there will never be another like Winston, he will continue to live on through the memories, pictures, and in the hearts of those who will forever love him.

    It's been a while, little dude, but your mom and I still talk about you. We still love you and miss you. Your birthday is coming up in about a week. I remember your mama telling me how she met you for the first time and how adorable you were as a pup. I wonder, now, if you're back to being that pup wherever you are. Or, who know, maybe you reincarnated into a sweet kid who is also mischievous and stubborn; some things don't change, Lil Winston. We miss you, my dude.

    I've been thinking about you a lot, Lil Winston. Today is your mom's birthday. I know you'd be there if you could. I know she misses you a ton. I miss you too. I miss your stubborn growling self. I miss having to come pick you up at the top of the hill because you refuse to walk back inside. I know we'll see you again.

    We rescued a little pup a few weeks ago. We named him Loki Watson. Your mama tells me all the time how much he reminds her of you when you were a puppy. I wish I could've been there to see you then. We miss you, lil Winston but we also know that you sent Lil Loki. I know we'll see you again.

    I only knew Lil Winston for a short time but it was easy to love him and his crazy, funny personality. His absence left a pup size hole in my heart. Sometimes, in bed, he would and I would put our foreheads together while I scratched his ears and I would just whisper to him. I miss you, little buddy.
