Obituary For Wyatt Sanders

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I announce the passing of Mr. Wyatt Sanders. Wyatt crossed the rainbow bridge on Wednesday October 16, 2024. Sadly, he came down with a sudden and severe case of pneumonia that he just couldn’t overcome. Wyatt was the most loyal, loving, handsome, bestest goodest boy anyone could ever ask for. He was born approximately January of 2011 and came into my life in July of 2012 after being found stray and taken to the Gwinnett Animal Shelter. His freedom ride was July 27th, one day before he was to be euthanized. Wyatt lived out the rest of his days with me in Smyrna, becoming accustomed to a certain new level of comfort, of which he would never accept less. He gave me the greatest twelve years of my life. He brought a smile to the face of everyone met and he never met a stranger. Wyatt was loved by all that knew him, except for most little dogs who hated his guts and wanted to chase him away. He was a beautiful soul with a giant heart he wanted to share with everyone. He had the biggest, greatest doggy smile. Wyatt was a lover of Taco Bell chicken soft tacos, all treats, steak, sleeping on the bed and couch, exploring every aisle of a pet store, playing in snow, seeing his doggy buds at daycare and boarding, his neighborhood girlfriend Dot, all of his friends and family, and of course going for rides in the truck. Wyatt never met a squeaky toy he couldn’t destroy, even those “indestructible” ones. If there was a squeaky in there, he felt it was his personal mission to seek it out and rid the world of the menace.

Wyatt, I will always love you and will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life. You will not be forgotten! Run free over the rainbow bridge. I’m sure you’re already up there running around playing tag with Curtis and Jackson while you wait for Paw Paw to break out the next bag of cookies for you. Run free bud, no more pain in your hips, you’re a puppy again. We’ll be together again someday.

Love you bud!

RIP Wyatt Sanders
