Obituary For Zoe King

Zoe was a rescue dog. Her start in life, as far as we could tell, had been a pretty hard one that included being a stray, having a litter sometime in her first year of life, and being returned to the Humane Society twice. When we adopted her, we quickly realized we had our hands full and in order to get her to become the dog we thought she could be, it would take a lot of time, effort and even more love and patience. In the 9 years we had the privilege of being her forever family, we watched a scared and insecure dog turn into the most loyal and loving little girl. Life can serve some cruel blows and our girl spent the last year of her life blind. Just as we had done when she first came into our home, we walked beside her as she learned to adjust to this new way of life. Our hearts were broken when we had to say goodbye to her just six days before Christmas. Our home does not feel the same and she will forever be missed! Zoe you were loved beyond measure, sweet girl and thank you for unconditionally loving us! ~ Mom, Dad, Elijah, and your fur-sissy Roxie.
