Obituary For Zoe Mullen

Zoe died peacefully at home with her family and friends. She was one of the best dogs I've ever met. She was a sister/mother to our cats, loved playing with the kids I babysat, enjoyed car rides, and chewing on her toys. She was obsessed with cat food to the point of actually jumping on the dining room table to get it, or sneaking into the litter boxes. She was verbally protective when she saw people or pets walking around the neighborhood, but was so friendly to strangers that she would lick them until they were a soggy mess. Zoe was the type of dog that loved to sniff every inch of ground and explore for hours. Her favorite foods was anything fish or chicken flavored and she loved snausages. She hated storms and fireworks which is how we came across her back in 2011. The poor baby was so scared outside a Dollar General while I was working that she followed me to my car in the rain and jumped inside the moment I opened the door. I had no idea she was following me but I took her home and cleaned her up. I never could find out who her owners were but we took her in and fell in love with her. Not sure if she chose us or not that day at DG, but I like to think she did. She'll forever be missed and we'll never stop loving her.

You made me cry with such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful dog.

Zoe was the best Fur-Niece. She was so sweet and when I adopted my Fur-baby Lexi at 12 weeks old in 2011, Zoe fell in love with her, they would play together all the time and Zoe would "protect" Lexi. I have never ever seen Zoe ever snarl, ever growl. She will forever be missed, and loved always.
