Obituary For Barney Yager

Barney was a cat that never quit. He fiercely loved his human family and knew when we wanted and needed his cuddles. He was sassy his whole life and got more spirited in his old age. He was a gift we did not know we were getting until he showed up on the balcony that day. He brought joy & fun, brightness & happiness, laughter & love and so much more into the lives of all the people that knew him. He was a fighter and survivor which he showed us by living past his "expiration" date. He left us on his own timeline and with dignity. We go on with a Barney sized hole in our hearts. He will always and forever be greatly missed!

Barney was always the explorer, the tough guy and my baby. At the end he and I would take walks outside. He moved slower and took his time so I could easily keep up with him. He was an indoor cat most of his life so this was a treat and he loved doing it. A gift at the end of his years. Still love and miss you my baby boy.
