Obituary For Cookie Ogletree

I will miss you Cookie. I loved you so much. You were like my firstborn child.
So kind, so sweet, so understanding, smart, joy, and purely wonderful being.
I wish I could have done more for you but I hope you had a beautiful and fun life.
Your smile brought me joy, Your little head tilts of curiosity would make me laugh.
When you'd check on me when I was down I knew just how smart and kind you really were. A sweet angel God had sent me.
You waited for all of us to be home. You let me pet you one last time. You held on so long so that you could see everyone and make sure we were okay.
I wanted to build an even greater for you to enjoy. Though I'll never get that moment, I will celebrate your life every chance I get to make up for the time I could not have with you.
You were the best dog anyone could ask for. A true family member. You were like my child. I pray God continues to show that love onto you with all the hugs, kisses, and pets you'll ever want. You were such a good dog.
I love you. I will miss you eternally.

Hi there. You don't know me but I do subscribe to the obituaries here to see the stories people share about their pets who have crossed over Rainbow Bridge (https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/Poem.htm). So sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for sharing some of Cookie's story 😊. Our pets bring so much unconditional love and joy to our lives. They truly are family members who we create and share memories with. Keep those with you and Cookie will live on in your heart forever. RIP.
